വാട്ടർ അതോറിറ്റിയിൽ ദൈനംദിനം വിവിധങ്ങളായ ഇലക്ട്രോ മെക്കാനിക്കൽ പ്രവർത്തികൾ നടക്കുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും ഇതിന് ആവശ്യമായ ഏകീകൃത എസ്റ്റിമേറ്റുകൾ ഇപ്പോൾ നിലവിലില്ല എന്നുള്ളത് അത്യന്തം നിരാശാജനകമാണ്.എൻജിനീയർമാരുടെ കാലങ്ങളായുള്ള ഈ ആവശ്യം പരിഗണിച്ചു കമ്മിറ്റികൾ രൂപീകരിച്ചെങ്കിലും ഇപ്പോഴും ഒരു അവസാന തീരുമാനത്തിലെത്തിയിട്ടില്ല എന്നുള്ളതാണ് യാഥാർഥ്യം.ഇതിൽ അടിയന്തിരമായി ഒരു തീരുമാനമെടുക്കണമെന്ന് APHEK മാനേജിംഗ് ഡയറക്ടറോടും ടെക്‌നിക്കൽ മെമ്പറോടും ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു. 01.09.21 ൽ സമർപ്പിച്ച കത്തിന്റെ പൂർണരൂപം ചുവടെ ചേർക്കുന്നു.

Sub :- Standardization of rate for electro mechanical works in KWA – Request submitting –reg. .

Your goodself may please note that there is no standard data for preparation of estimates for electro mechanical works in KWA. Defferent rates and methods are adopted in KWA offices which causes difficulties to the Engineering wing for the execution of electro mechanical works. Also this may cause financial loss in such works.Eventhough the Management has initiated steps for arriving standard data for electromechanical works, the same was not concluded till date. Also the power for the approval of data for electro mechanical works is delegated only from the level of Executive Engineers which causes much delay in sanctioning of works.So we request that

• The standard data for preparation of electro mechanical data may please be published at the earliest and the same shall be uploaded in PRICE.
• The power to approve the observed data for all works including electro mechanical works shall be delegated to the Asst.Exe.Engineers also for works up to Rs.30,000.

An early action may please be taken in the above matter.
