This national-level distinction was earned by successfully implementing 99.3% of the prescribed reforms under the Business Reforms Action Plan + Reduction of Compliance Burden – 2024. Kerala also attained Top Achiever Status across four key business-related reform domains which includes KWA’s providing water connection also.
KWA’s business-friendly initiatives—particularly the implementation of the online water connection system through the in-house developed E-Tapp application, along with the simplification of various business processes—received high national-level ratings and contributed significantly to this remarkable achievement.
Additionally, in the customer satisfaction survey conducted by the Central Government, over 90% of business consumers who utilized KWA’s online services provided positive feedback, further reinforcing the state’s success in this assessment.
